Yellow Cab

Aircraft No. 42-32081, Yellow Cab, was completed at the Boeing Seattle plant on January 23, 1944, but did not reach the 447th until the middle of March.  She was assiggned to the 708th Bomb Squadron and flew at least 36 combat missions.

On November 4, 1944, Yellow Cab was hit by flak over the target area at Hamburg. Lt. Junior Adams appeared to keep with the formation through the RP, but the aircraft crashed into the North Sea killing all nine on board:
