On November 4, 1944, The JM Adams crew was aboard 42-32081 Yellow Cab when it was hit by flak over the target area at Hamburg. Lt. Junior Adams appeared to keep with the formation through the RP, but the aircraft crashed into the North Sea killing all nine on board:
