Crashed 1/8/44 at Great Ashbury during an instrument test flight while Rattlesden runway was being resurfaced.

Severe weather diverted flight to force landed Sudbury, Sfk skidding on its belly, severely damaged, never flew again; Salvaged 2/8/44.
