Missing in Action Munster 11-Mar-44 Shot down by AA fire.  42-97484 crashed in the North Sea, off Haamstede, Isle of Schouwen, Holland. 9KIA 1POW Missing Air Crew Report 3188.

Most aircrew landed on sandbank at low tide, but their pleas for help to German workers and soldiers as tide came in were ignored and they all drowned. After war searches for those responsible failed.
